Riga Poetry Records

In the exhibition “Riga Poetry Records”, the city routes are outlined by the records of the era and poetry from the collection of the Museum of Literature and Music, linking the history of poetry with episodes of daily life in Riga from the end of the 19th century to the present day. The works of poets of different periods reveal Riga as a territory with a complex past and wast cultural and historical context. The twists and turns of history, the destinies of poets and their relations with contemporaries become part of the motif of the capital city, the center of Latvian cultural life.
