Looking for the new in photography!

Riga Photography Biennale Award "Looking for the new in photography!" was founded with the aim of discovering and highlighting young artists who reflect the power of the image in their works and offer a conceptually original view of the events of their time. In 2018, the international jury awarded the main prize to Diāna Tamane (Latvia), the second place went to Tāvi Suisalu (Estonia), and the third place to Kristīne Madjare (Latvia). Madara Gritāne (Latvia) received a special award, an opportunity to publish her book with the publishing house "NoRoutine Books". The award-winning works will be on display in “Riga Art Space” Intro Hall from April 13 to May 13.
